Vanderhurd’s embroidery collection is vast and ever expanding. Our hand embroidery is made in Uttarakhand in India, where Christine has worked with our embroiderers to improve the quality of life for the women especially. Traditionally men were exclusively more skilled in the art of hand embroidery. Christine has been instrumental in helping teach these techniques to young women embroiderers so that they too can earn a living.

Everything is made to order and can be designed with any thread colour and base cloth, some clients even choose to use their own fabrics, which we can then embellish with our embroidery using one of our designs or we can create your very own design. From cushions, to headboards to leading edges - we encourage Designers to bring their schemes to the studio so that they can choose from our library of embroidery threads, there is very little we cannot do.
